The exciting identification of inhibitors of thioredoxin/glutathione reductase (TGR) as leads in schisto chemotherapy
This last paper comes from the same group who recently published an extremely important Nature Medicine paper on the identification of oxadiazoles for the treatment of schisto.
There was also an important publication in Nature from a group including Novartis on the identification of new compounds for the treatment of drug-resistant nematodes, especially important for the treatment of livestock infections.
